Welcome to First Grade! My name is Ms. Lee and this will be my third year teaching first grade at SMA. I have gone to Catholic school for most of my life, and have grown up with strong Catholic beliefs. I grew up about 20 miles west of Chicago in Elmhurst. I attended St. Charles Borromeo Grade School and Immaculate Conception High School. I then attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and received my B.S in Sociology and Psychology. After Augustana, I continued to Elmhurst College to obtain a degree in Elementary Education. Along with that, I am currently pursuing a Masters in Reading with a goal to become a Reading Specialist from Concordia University.
I enjoy making learning fun, exciting, and interesting. I enjoy teaching our curriculum, as well as morals and Christian beliefs. Along with teaching last year, II welcome anyone that would like to come in and join our class. We have fun, learn a lot, and love God. As we say in our first grade class “We are a fun and hardworking TEAM!”
