Hello! I am very proud to be in my fourth year of teaching PreK at St. Mary of the Angels School. I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, where my mother, father, brother and sister still reside. I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee where I studied Journalism. A few years later, I went back to school to pursue my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University.
I have enjoyed watching the early childhood program here at St. Mary's grow rapidly since I began teaching four years ago. We have a young, enthusiastic and hard working staff that makes me feel supported and confident as a teacher.
When I'm not teaching four and five year olds I enjoy cooking, yoga, running and I must admit my newest obsession is Pinterest!
This week in class
Monday School Spirit Day- Children may wear jeans and school colors (blue and white)
Tuesday Teacher Appreciation Day- Students may dress as twin (with someone else in their class)
Wednesday Parent Appreciation Day- Please dress in full uniform (we have an open house today)
Thursday Student Appreciation Day- Students may wear team Jersey's and hats today
Friday Faith Appreciation Day- Please wear full uniform. 100th day of school!!
