Mrs. Sara Nash – PreK -- I was raised in Northbrook where I attended St. Norbert’s School and St. Louise de Marillac High School in Northfield. I went on to graduate from Drake University with a B.S.B.A. in Computer Information Systems. After a satisfying career working for American National Bank, Peat Marwick Advanced Technology and Andersen Consulting, I retired from software engineering to stay home with my two wonderful children. I had so much fun with my own children and volunteering at their schools that I decided to pursue my Masters in Early Elementary Education. I graduated in 2006 and have worked at Wilmette, Kenilworth and Winnetka schools. I truly love working in the Catholic environment and practicing my faith along with the children. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff at St. Mary of the Angels. Thank you also for the gift of working with your wonderful children!
Mrs. Nash is joined by Ms. Kimberly Wilcer; you can reach her via email at kwilcer@sma-school.org.
Miss Wilcer -- Welcome to PK 106! My name is Miss Wilcer and this is my first year teaching at St. Mary of the Angels. I grew up in the suburb of Western Springs where I attended St. John of the Cross School. I continued my Catholic education at Fenwick High School in Oak Park. I then went on to attend Providence College in Rhode Island, where I graduated with a B.A in Elementary/Special Education. I previously worked as an RTI Tutor in Hinsdale, working with students in grades K-4. I truly love working with children and watching them learn and grow. I enjoy making learning fun and exciting and am never afraid to get a little messy! In my spare time, I enjoy reading as much as I can, playing tennis, and spending time with my family and friends. I also recently moved to the city, so I'm enjoying discovering all of the exciting opportunities our great city has to offer. I'm happy to be a part of the SMA family.
